The Menagerie play by post RPG would like to thank both Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson for their Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. They made the world that much more fantastic.
I'm going to play the main story though, before I install any mods. I want to play the 'original' game before changing anything. But, I do love mods. I had lots of mods for Fallout 3 and really want to look into that for New Vegas too.
Has someone written a mod to be able to play after the Battle of Hoover Dam Part Dos as of yet? Because if so, I might go and get a copy for PC. Because I raged really REALLY hard when I found out you couldn't continue in the vanilla game, and even harder when I learned there wouldn't be a DLC to allow you to play further.
Come in under the shadow of this red rock, and I will show you something different from either your shadow at morning, striding behind you, or your shadow at evening, rising to meet you. I shall show you fear in a handful of dust.

Does anyone else have a Nintendo 3DS? Last night there was a big Nintendo conference that aired via live stream over the internet. They announced a bunch of new titles and showed several trailers that look pretty exciting. The 3DS finally seems to have a bright future. Some incredible titles are on the way!
Heh. Playing Harvest Moon while calling the 3DS a child's toy. I'm looking forward to the next Fire Emblem game--a turn based strategy in which each character has a personality and backstory. If a character dies in combat they stay dead. It's definitely my favorite series (well--my favorite handheld series at least). Harvest Moon is fun but I prefer Rune Factory. I'm just glad you didn't say Animal Crossing (3DS version coming out as well XD).
There was also a huge demonstration for the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (my favorite series over all). The game comes out in @2months and I'm definitely excited for it.
It's still fun even though it's a child's toy. I wouldn't buy it, but like the emulators
Ahh.. I remember Fire Emblem.. Good game indeed. I'm only playing HM when I don't know what to play xD . Going to try Rune Factory soon, looks like a cool version.
I loved playing Zelda back in the GBA days! One of the best games out there definably! Can't wait to try Skyward Sword!

Has anyone played Hellgate: London or the new Hellgate: Global? Global is free to play for a while then a fixed price for expansions it seems. I think this may be my new drug.

I've been thinking of trying Hellgate; I think I went as far as signing up before the revamped version of it started, if it has started. I might let it download one of these days and see how it is. What do you think Orp?
Welcome to The Menagerie. We are a free role playing game with less rules and more freedom. After many years, a couple of hosts and a few different game systems, we feel that less is more. Players get to be truly creative, which in turn leads to more enjoyment in game.
We invite you to join us in crafting our world and look forward to making friends. Should you have any questions, feel free to post in our chat box or ask any of our members or staff.
May you enjoy your stay.
It must be said that this game is the product of continued dedication and friendship.

Marlena: Admin and promoter extraordinaire.
The Menagerie has enjoyed many incarnations, revamps, reimaginings and renovations and none of it would have been possible without the ongoing support of my friends, the players. Their unwavering loyalty and endless dedication to this project has been stellar.
I would like to thank all admin and staff past and present, in particular Tiberius.
I would like to thank friends and staff no longer with us, and to the few I hold most dear: John, Roland, Alex, Azriel and Jenkins.
Thank you all.
